A. The ultrasound itself doesn’t cause any pain and you won’t feel anything other than the sensor being applied to your skin. Ultrasounds are often
used to try and identify the cause of a patient’s health problems they have been experiencing. In these cases, some pressure is applied to the surface of the patient’s skin over an affected body part.

You will be asked either to sit down on the scan stool or lay down on the scan couch (bed) comfortably and safely subject to the type of scan and will be advised accordingly before the ultrasound examination. Our well qualified experienced Consultant Radiologist/sonographer will put water-based gel on the area of clinical interest. Thereafter, they examine that area by placing the probe (camera) over them.
A. The duration of a single scan is usually 20minutes.
A. You will be given a provisional verbal report of your result. After that, you can go home or go back to work as needed. Later on, the radiologist/sonographer will review the images and draw up a report of the results. The encrypted final digital report along with relevant images will be sent to your registered email address safely. A. If any abnormality or pathology is revealed during the scan, our performing radiologist or sonographer would advise you whether you require any

A. Although we try our best to complete the scan on the same day however, in some cases, we may not be able to do the main purpose of the scan due to baby is in a tricky position, or it could be something else like too much bowel gas that can cloud the ultrasound picture, particularly in pregnancy
related scans. If that happens, we'll book you a rescan at no extra cost in order to complete the main purpose. You may find the main purpose on the scan page you will book or have already booked.
A. Please contact us asap we shall try our best to accommodate you, but you may have to wait as the other appointments after you can be impacted significantly due to the fully booked clinics.
