Description
Elite Community Ultrasound (ECU) is delighted to offer this comprehensive Peripheral artery Doppler scan for those who are 16 years or above and do not want to wait for weeks for finding an answer.
A peripheral artery Doppler ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic imaging technique used to evaluate circulation in the large arteries of the arms or legs. The scan assesses the arterial wall thickness and detects any narrowing or blockages. This scan includes the assessment of structures of large arteries and arterial blood flow in your arms or legs. It can help your healthcare professional to determine a treatment in various conditions in your peripheral arteries.
The most common conditions of the artery in the arms or legs can be:
Peripheral artery stenosis/Narrowing/Blockage.
A decrease in blood circulation.
Aneurysm.
For more information regarding this scan please read the under-mentioned FAQs.
